Background
Mondana Rezania has been practicing architecture and building construction
in New York City Metropolitan area for the last 26 years. During
this period, she gained experience in new construction, addition,
alteration, gut renovation, structural engineering, construction
drawings, detailing, writing specification, contract documents,
bid process, construction inspection, feasibility study, space planning,
site planning, ADA compliance, and facility assessment.
Ms Rezania established an independent practice in 2001 with the
intent to uphold excellence in architectural design, project management,
construction documents, and client relationship. Today she works
in a studio environment where new ideas are welcomed and the highest
level of importance is placed upon technical proficiency and professionalism.
Prior to 2001, Ms Rezania worked as a project architect /manager
in a number of architectural firms, non-for-profit organizations,
New York City Child Care Agency, Stony Brook University and the
New York City School Construction Authority.
She has strong background in NY State Codes, NYC Codes, NYC Zoning
Resolution and NYC Building Department Expediting; she has obtained
approvals from regulatory agencies such as Planning Boards, Zoning
Board of Appeals, Health Departments, DOT, and Building Departments
in NYC and NY State.
